I recently bought a used 1967 Ford Mustang, and as you might imagine, it's not in great shape. It's a real time bomb, and there always seems to be something wrong with it mechanically. But I bought this car deliberately because I want to learn how to work on and repair cars. Those old domestic cars are very easy to work on and repair, I can pop open the hood on the Mustang and easily identify all the parts, they are nice and spread apart. I can even stand inside the guts of the car, next to the engine block.
