I have kind of an embarrassing story to share with you guys: Last weekend I hurt my back carrying a bag of dog food. See, the pet store is about three blocks from my house. My little Charlie only weighs about 15 pounds but he seems to eat his weight in food every couple of weeks. So I always bring home the 30 pound bags of food (Innova Red Meat Small Bites, only the best for my pooch). The pet store is about 5 blocks from my house and being too proud (cheap) to take a taxi 5 blocks, I just carry the 30 lb bag over my shoulder. Well, last week my back decided it was tired of the strain and now it hurts to sit, stand, or bend over. It's alright though, I feel great when lying down.

I'm going to start buying Charlie his food online, I've realized that not only will it be much cheaper, but since the bags of dog food will get delivered to my doorstep I won't have to drag them home anymore. I suppose Charlie will miss the trips to get dog food, he goes crazy in there because of the pungent mix of animal odors that can be found in the thick air of the pet shop. That's a sacrifice he will have just have to make on my part.
